Prior to forming his own law firm in 1977, Donald H. Heller was an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, N.Y. (N.Y. County), the most revered and finest district attorney’s office in the United States. Later Don was Assistant U.S. Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office in Sacramento, California.

In his 8 1/2 years as a prosecutor, Don tried all of the general criminal offenses from grand theft to homicides and in the federal court, Don prosecuted multiple mail, wire and tax fraud offenses that are commonly charged to today, along with bank robberies and a memorable case involving the attempted assassination of President Gerald R. Ford.
